Hello everyone,
We’re looking to spend about 4-5 weeks in Tahiti, Moorea, Bora Bora and Huahine next January ( to avoid as much of Canadian winter as possible…)
We understand it’s during the rainy season; what we’d like to find out is what the rainy season was like in past few years. eg. Is it a few showers lasting 10-20 minutes few times a day or we’re talking steady rain for days on ???
We understand that none can predict what the weather will do…just looking for some recent experience in Tahiti
Any help is appreciated.
Good morning tall boy
This year January in the Society was a bit rainy. Incessant rains some nights. During the day it happened that large squalls fell in certain areas for an hour and the good weather returned afterwards.
There have been more than 10 days without rain too.

Thanks Christian !
Would you say that there’s a difference in weather between Moorea &Tahiti
and Bora and Huahine ???What I mean is…does it rain more in the north or south ??..
…or are the differences negligible…
Thanks again
Jerry
Good morning Jerry
The weather may vary from one island to another, or if there is a weather depression, all the islands will be affected.
But on the same island, on one side beautiful, on the other rainy for example.
Christian
Thanks again Christian…
We may actually consider pushing the trip to March…when the weather should be generally less rainy…from what I read ??
Jerry

Have a nice day.
